Itinerary and timing
Choose your length
Half day about 4 hours; full day about 7 to 9 hours with breaks.
Half-day (approximately 4 hours)
- Suggested pickup: Galle or Unawatuna accommodation; other areas require a transfer quote.
- Choose a Galle Fort walk or an Unawatuna beach visit. The half-day version does not attempt both at full length.
- For the Fort option, allow about 90 minutes for the ramparts, lighthouse area and lanes with shaded breaks. Surfaces include uneven stone and steps.
- Refreshment stop and return transfer.
Full day (approximately 7–9 hours including breaks)
- Morning pickup and Galle Fort walk through the ramparts, lighthouse area and lanes, with heat breaks.
- Lunch stop; meal cost is separate unless stated in the quote.
- Afternoon in Unawatuna for beach time. Optional snorkelling needs a separate operator quote and suitable conditions.
- Return transfer after a refreshment stop. In rain or unsafe seas, substitute sheltered Fort stops and a cafe visit.
Two days / one night
- Day 1: Galle Fort walk and lunch stop, then Unawatuna beach. Suggested overnight in Galle or Unawatuna; hotel, room type and meals are quoted separately.
- Day 2: Free beach morning or an optional, separately quoted snorkelling session when safe, then departure.
Season and safety. South-coast sea conditions are generally more favorable in the November–April period, but weather can change. Swim and boat activities must follow current safety advice.
